Lifeline Mobile Game

If you are looking for a good fun and casual mobile game then Lifeline might be what you are looking for.

The Google Play synopsis reads:

Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. You will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together.

Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.

A totally unique experience enabled by modern devices, this story plays out in real time. As Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free.

Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode.

Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU.

Lifeline can be found by clicking the link on the left. It's a good fun game and although you get hooked, you don't need to spend your entire life playing it.

Fallout Shelter to Release on Android Sometime in August

The Android version of popular Fallout mobile game Fallout Shelter should launch sometime in August.

That's according to Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines, who shared the release window on Twitter in an exchange with a fan.

"Coming along nice," Hines said about the Android edition. "Haven't announced a date, but should be out next month. We'll let you know when we have specifics."

Fallout Shelter was announced during Bethesda's E3 briefing last month and was released later that evening. The free game immediately raced to the top of the charts, generating lots of revenue through microtransactions even though Bethesda claims the game is not necessarily about making money.

Just this week, Fallout Shelter added its first Fallout 4 character, Commonwealth Minutemen leader Preston Garvey, along with his Laser Musket.

Man Buys Fallout 4 PipBoy Edition with Bottle Caps

Ahhh.... Bottle Caps.

The currency everyone speaks in Fallout.
The Bottle Caps

Well guess what?! Someone has been saving up their beloved bottle caps for 7.5 years and wrote to Bethesda in the hope of securing a copy of Fallout.

Most people laughed this off around the web but the idea has actually paid off.

Bethesda have confirmed that they will honor this and give the guy a copy of the game.

Below is the copy of the letter that is nothing short of genius:

So who says bottle caps aren't real currency.

Hats of to Bethesda on this one!

Driveclub PS+ Edition Finally Available

Sony have finally dropped the Driveclub PS+ Edition on the Playstation Store.

While I can't complain at the fact it is free, I have to say the wait has been nothing short of terrible and I have personally lost all interest in this one.

To make matters worse at the time of writing this the PSN is having woefully slow download times so it looks like Sony just want you to wait that extra bit longer......

I've started this downloading but given that driving games aren't my favorite genre I can't see it lasting long eating up valuable space.

Also the fact that most of the free DLC is only compatible with the purchased version and not the PS+ Edition is pretty poor.

Officially the PSVITA is dead

Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed at E3 that no more AAA titles will be released on PSVITA.

He did stress though that they will still support Indie titles and that Remote Play will be highly regarded in it's future.

Given that you can play remote play on any 4.0+ Android Device the need for a Vita for Remote Play is even less.

My problem with this is while some Indie games are amazing, it isn't the reason I bought a Vita, I bought it for games like Uncharted and Killzone, and I was surprised by how awesome Gravity Rush was.

I also enjoyed the Assassins Creed outing provided by Ubisoft, but this now seems to be a thing of the past.

This, Playstation Move / Eye Toy, 3D gaming on Playstation and more recently the PS4 Camera are the reason I wont be getting Morpheus for at least a couple of years after release (if at all).

It will turn out to be nothing more than a gimmick that Sony will simply stop supporting shortly after its over hyped release as all of the above have met this demise.

Star Wars Battlefront Is Finally Coming

Looks like gamers are going to have a busy back end of 2015, thanks to an avalanche of new games, with EA also getting into the action.

At E3 a video has been dropped that shows the co-op gameplay and I have to say it's looking very impressive.

Star Wars Battlefront is coming 17th November 2015 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Finally the PS4 has a media player!

When you next turn on your PS4 you will be treated to the option to download a new media player! At long last!

This has been a majorly requested feature and Sony have been listening.

Taken from the Playstation blog:

A Media Player icon will appear in the PS4 content area, simply select the icon and you will be taken to the PS Store where you can begin the download.

The Media Player works with both your home server and when plugging a USB stick with media into one of the available ports on the PS4.

Your home server will appear as a media option in the player automatically and finding your media is simple and quick. You may also simply enjoy music as background music on your PS4!

Playstation gains Call of Duty "Exclusive Multiplayer Beta"

And by exclusive I mean - first dibs.

Of course the beta wont take long to drop on other consoles so it's nothing to get over excited about.

Interestingly though it looks like the PS4 will be getting the map packs before the Xbox.

Looks like Microsoft has lost its tight grip on the franchise.

Check the multiplayer trailer revel below. I lost my passion for CoD a while back but this trailer does make it look damn good!

The Last Guardian Appears at E3

Despite many gamer suggesting The Last Guardian would be a no show at E3, Sony have revealed it in all it's glory.

This game looks to be a  technical marvel in the graphics department, but will it play as good as it looks?

Only time will tell. Check the gameplay footage after the break.

I'm on the fence with this one. Not sure if it's my type of game but no doubt I will give it a shot.

Nathan Drake Wows for Sony at E3

Naught Dog have wowed E3 again with the latest adventure for Nathan Drake. Uncharted: A Thief's End.

As A massive fan of Drake and his antics I have to say I am really looking forward to this one!

This really shows off the power of the PS4 as you can see in the trailer.

This wasn't the only showing that Drake got. There is also a full demo of the game and it simply looks amazing.

In the below I like the little touches like when he bumps the guy in the crowd and apologises.

Also when the washing line snags the truck and gets dragged along later on. It just shows off the little touches that Naughty Dog never fail to miss.

Check the full E3 demo after the break.
